Halong Birdwatching Bai Tu Long 3 days

But what may come as the real surprise to many birders is that Vietnam
has the highest number of endemic bird species on mainland South-East
Asia. There are currently twelve species of bird that are found only in
Vietnam, though this figure is liable to change at any time as
taxonomic changes are made and species are split Birdwatching Programme - Bai Tu Long National Park, Van Don District, Quang Ninh Province.
Day 1: Hanoi - Halong - Van Don
- 12h10: Car pick-up at 66 Ma May st, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi
- 16h00: Arrive Van Don District, birding along the road, ferry and islets
- 17h30: Arrive national park
- 19h00: Dinner
- 20h30: Summary of recent’s activities
- 21h30: Introduce new members, enjoy with slightly outdoor night party.
- 22h30: Go to sleep, overnight at Van Don district (Guest-house)
Day 2: Van Don - Bai Tu Long
- 6.00 – Breakfast and travel to Ba Mun island by boat.
- 8.30 – 11.30: Birding along small trails within Ba Mun island.
- 12h00: Lunch
- 14h00: Birding along coastline of Ba Mun island
- 17h00 : Enjoy swimming at the nature beach, see marine mammals a plants
- 19h30: Dinner
- 21h30: Relax with ourdoor night party with national park staffs.
- 22h30: Go to sleep, overnight at Forest Guard Station (electricity limited, need to have commitment of participants to live in poor and nature living conditions).
Day 3: Bai Tu Long - Van Don - Hanoi
- 6.30 – 9.30: Birding at Ba Mun island.
- 10h00: Return to Van Don.
- 12h00: Lunch at Van Don district.
- 14h30: Return to Hanoi
- 18h00: Arrive Hanoi, trip conclusion.
What to bring: Walking shoes, hat, raincoat, torch ....Binoculars, books, hammocks or tents (if available..)
